Circle work, 2016 Rocks, salt, data set, aluminium
THE FREEDMAN FOUNDATION TRAVELLING SCHOLARSHIP at UNSW Galleries 2016
Circle work presents an Arctic shoreline, the tide creating lines in the
snow on the pebbles. In this work salt mimics those lines of the tide
in the form of a graph from Google search data. In this instance the
search data is from the day of install, incorporating the two search
terms ‘seeing’ and ‘believing’. The chosen search terms vary each
install and are location specific.
